Bit Corporation, a Danal affiliate, is pushing business structure innovation and expanding its B2B and B2C distribution solutions under the direction of newly appointed CEO Chae Yoon-kwan (채윤관), it said on Jan. 26.

Chae is a digital platform specialist who worked at SPC Group for about 20 years and has built new business models linking online and offline operations.

Chae is now raising the value of Bit Corporation’s core business, the robot coffee brand b;eat, by incorporating AI technology.

Bit Corporation completed preparations needed to expand its business scope last December, including a pilot operation of a hybrid complex store combining an AI convenience store with robot coffee. Starting with that store, it plans to distribute an "AI smart retail platform" nationwide that maximises space utilisation.

Chae Yoon-kwan, CEO of Bit Corporation, said, "Bit is now being reborn as a next-generation distribution platform equipped with AI software power beyond robot services." He said, "With differentiated technology that connects online and offline, we will set a standard for the domestic smart retail market and prove our competitiveness in the global market as well."
