Legal AI startup Harvey is acquiring Hexus, which develops tools for producing product demos and videos, TechCrunch reported on Jan. 24.

The specific terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Hexus has previously raised $1.6 million from Pear VC, Liquid 2 Ventures and angel investors.

The acquisition is part of Harvey's strategy to strengthen its position in the legal AI market. Harvey received an additional $160 million in funding last year at an $8 billion valuation. It has raised $760 million in total.

Harvey has secured more than 1,000 customers in 60 countries, and most of the top 10 U.S. law firms have adopted Harvey's AI solution, TechCrunch reported. Co-founder and CEO Winston Weinberg (윈스턴 와인버그) said, "AI will transform the legal industry."
