Lenovo said on Jan. 23 it unveiled enterprise servers, solutions and services targeting AI inference workloads and expanded its Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage portfolio.
The company said AI inference is moving beyond the stage of training large language models (LLMs) to a major turning point in which completed models are used to analyse new data and make immediate decisions in real environments. The shift from training to execution turns large capital投入 in AI into visible business results and competitive advantage.
Lenovo's new AI inference portfolio supports improving returns on investment by driving AI workloads through integrating and connecting data distributed across cloud, data centres and the edge.
Ashley Gorakhpurwalla (애슐리 고라크푸르왈라), Lenovo senior vice president and president of the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), said, "Today, companies need AI that can turn data into insights as soon as it is generated." He added, "Lenovo's inference-optimised infrastructure provides real-time competitive advantage by turning large-scale data into immediately actionable intelligence, enabling more sophisticated decision-making, enhanced security and faster innovation."
