Data analytics software company Sumo Logic has launched apps for Snowflake and Databricks to strengthen data pipeline visibility, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday.
Sumo Logic has supported security, operations and data teams in tracking user activity, configuration changes, performance issues and potential threats in real time. The new apps integrate the Snowflake and Databricks platforms to help with anomaly detection, incident investigations and operational optimisation.
Keith Kutchler (키스 쿠츨러), Sumo Logic's chief product and technology officer, said Snowflake and Databricks are core to customer data strategies as AI use increases. He said the apps provide visibility across data warehouse platforms, improving performance optimisation and speeding up incident resolution.
The Snowflake log app analyses login and access activity to detect anomalous behaviour and supports data pipeline optimisation. It also provides real-time dashboards and alerts.
The Databricks audit app centrally manages user activity, job execution and access patterns, and detects unauthorised access attempts and privilege escalation in real time. The company said this enables security and compliance teams to identify and respond to threats.
Both apps are available in the Sumo Logic app catalogue.
