Samsung Electronics said on Wednesday it launched its 2026 inverter dehumidifiers. All models support Grade 1 energy efficiency. It added 21-litre and 23-litre large-capacity models to the existing 18-litre model.
The products feature a digital inverter compressor to improve dehumidification efficiency. Using the SmartThings-based AI power-saving mode can reduce power use by up to 30 percent. Low-noise mode operates at 32 decibels or less.
Users can choose dehumidification capacity to suit spaces such as laundry rooms and dressing rooms. A continuous drainage function has been newly applied. By connecting a hose to the drainage cap on the back of the product, users can dehumidify for long periods without emptying the tank.
The products also include a tank lighting function. When the tank is full, a light flashes to provide an alarm. They also have mood lighting in 8 colors. They support a quick remote function that lets users control the product remotely via SmartThings.
They come in 2 colors: Victory Gray and Earth Brown. They match the Blue Sky air purifier lineup. Suggested retail prices range from 679,000 won to 819,000 won depending on dehumidification capacity.
Im Seong-taek (임성택), a vice president at Samsung Electronics' DA Business Division, said, "This new product features high energy efficiency to reduce the burden of electricity bills and maximizes ease of use with large-capacity dehumidification and continuous drainage functions." He added, "We will continue to introduce products that improve consumers' quality of life by providing a pleasant and healthy indoor environment throughout all four seasons with innovative technology."
