[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Cybersecurity company Genians held the “2026 Genians Partner Day” over Feb. 25-26 to pursue shared growth with partners.
Major distributors and 51 partner companies attended, including Daesin Information & Communications, Ronstech, Etvers and SK Shieldus. Genians reviewed last year’s performance and presented specific partner cooperation plans to achieve its 2026 strategic directions, including expanding into the EPP (Endpoint Protection Platform) market and pushing ahead with its services business (MDR).
One key focus of this year’s event was the next-generation integrated endpoint security platform, “Genian Insight E.” Genians drew attention last year by introducing an EPP solution that integrates antivirus (AV), anti-ransomware and device control functions into a single agent, based on its EDR technology.
In the session, participants held strategic discussions on expanding beyond Genians’ existing EDR customer base into the broader EPP market. Working with partners, Genians shared goals for establishing a foothold in the EPP market by using “Genian Insight E” to maximise customers’ security management efficiency and by discussing ways to build an “integrated endpoint security environment” that goes beyond simply supplying solutions.
Genians has positioned this year as the “first year of a leap in the services business” and carried out a sweeping organisational reshuffle early in the year to strengthen the services business. At the Partner Day, it shared results from its MDR (Managed Detection and Response) service launched last year and unveiled specific service commercialisation strategies that allow revenue sharing with partners.
Genians in particular presented practical collaboration models to enable partners to participate as key players in service delivery, including optimising division of roles and advancing technical support. This is a strategy to raise market responsiveness to a higher level by combining product competitiveness with specialised security services capabilities.
Genians CEO Dong-beom Lee (이동범) said, “This year’s Partner Day was a meaningful occasion to move a step beyond our existing product-focused business and share new growth engines with partners in the form of the EPP platform and the services business.” He added, “As we have brought our service capabilities together through the organisational reshuffle, we will work closely with partners to build a sustainable security ecosystem.”
