NH NongHyup Bank said on Thursday it has implemented department head appointments for 2026.

The appointments kept the existing principle of selecting department heads from among senior officials at the central headquarters, focusing on performance and ensuring organisational stability.

At the same time, the bank promoted high-performing branch managers as new department heads to strengthen leadership based on frontline experience and practical operations.

It also expanded female leadership to build an inclusive organisational culture and broaden its mid- to long-term talent diversity strategy. The number of female department heads doubled from a year earlier.

The bank strengthened the placement of specialist personnel to prepare for future finance.

It selected personnel with experience and expertise in financial consumer protection and productive finance, and assigned department heads from digital business units to IT departments to pursue consumer-focused management, stronger productive finance and the building of a foundation for digital innovation.

An NH NongHyup Bank official said the appointments would strengthen future innovation capabilities based on stable organisational operations, aiming for shared growth with customers and a leap toward becoming a digital leading bank.
