HPE said on Thursday it was selected as the AI transformation partner for South Korean insurer DB Life as it seeks to improve employee productivity, automate customer responses and strengthen operational efficiency.
DB Life is working with HPE to introduce a next-generation AI-based chatbot service and build a scalable large language model operations (LLMOps) platform using the HPE GreenLake Flex solution. HPE GreenLake Flex is a modular infrastructure-as-a-service that combines computing, storage, networking and AI software in a flexible pay-per-use model. It supports companies in scaling resources as needed while maintaining control, security and data sovereignty.
The project is designed to improve how employees access and use information, shorten response times and provide personalised customer consultations.
Min Hyo-sik (민효식), head of the Digital Innovation Division at DB Life, said HPE supported DB Life in making a bold leap as it redefines customer service. He said adopting HPE AI solutions and services secured full control and sovereignty over infrastructure and information. He said it created an environment to trust and use generative AI, enabling employees to access faster and more accurate information. He added that shorter response times and a smoother, more personalised experience have strengthened competitiveness to lead next-generation digital financial services.
Kim Young-chae (김영채), head of HPE Korea, said financial institutions are under pressure to deliver faster, smarter and more personalised services even in a complex regulatory environment. He said the collaboration with DB Life shows that generative AI can be used safely and effectively to create tangible business value. He added that HPE is supporting DB Life in building an AI-based future that meaningfully improves productivity and customer experience through its enterprise technology, industry expertise and as-a-service delivery model.
