API governance company Softfreak said on Tuesday it has received tier-1 GS (Good Software) certification for its API gateway solution, F-APIm Gateway.
F-APIm Gateway is an integrated API management solution that optimises the operation and management of APIs, data communication paths between software. It reliably relays and coordinates API calls between internal and external systems within an organisation and controls traffic between services, serving as a central hub that securely processes API requests.
Softfreak said F-APIm Gateway provides functions needed for API operations, including authentication, security, traffic control, protocol translation and logging.
Softfreak CEO Dong-cheol Kim (김동철) said winning the top GS certification shows F-APIm Gateway has objectively met required quality standards. He said the company will actively support customers' digital transformation by providing an API governance-based safe operating framework in enterprise areas, including public procurement markets as well as financial firms and large companies.
