Devsisters said on Tuesday it took part in Anime Impulse LA, held in the United States for two days from Jan. 17, and received a positive response from North American fans.

At the event, Cookie Run participated as a main intellectual property and set up the largest booth. A total of 10,000 visitors were tallied as having visited. A line formed before the venue opened, and the merchandise store sold out early on both days.

The booth was decorated with a fifth anniversary theme for Cookie Run: Kingdom, and a TCG Cookie Run: Braverse zone was also operated. A special comic book featuring the game’s universe and a new product, the Beast Cookie collectible figure, were unveiled, drawing attention from local visitors with strong interest in comics and animation.

Various programs were also held to engage with fans. E-hwan Kim (김이환), Cookie Run: Kingdom PD, visited the booth in person and held DevTalk and a signing event with users. The North American voice cast staged a live table read, acting out scripts on site, and held a talk show, drawing strong response.

More than 100 people took part in an outdoor cosplay event, and collaboration products with fashion brand Core Limited and bubble tea brand Haengbokdang were also introduced.

Albert Jung (알버트 정), head of Devsisters USA, said he felt North American fans enjoy Cookie Run in diverse ways, from the game to merchandise. He said the company plans to actively expand touchpoints with local fans and broaden fandom culture.
