Webzen said on Jan. 21 it is starting official service for its new open-world action RPG Dragon Sword.

From 2 p.m. on the day, Dragon Sword supports cross-platform play on both mobile and PC. The mobile version can be downloaded from major app stores. The PC version can be accessed after installing Webzen’s game client, Webzen Launcher, via instructions on the official brand website and community.

Dragon Sword is a South Korean-made open-world action RPG. It features flashy combat based on combo action in a high-freedom open world.

It uses a cartoon rendering style with bright, warm graphics and easy controls aimed at broad appeal. It also implements a detailed combat system that lets players combine characters and attack methods depending on skill level to enjoy continuous combo action.

It also introduces a range of open-world content to deliver the fun of exploration in a vast fantasy world. The game offers content and quests that mix puzzles and combat, and applies full dubbing by well-known South Korean voice actors to the main story to deepen immersion in its world.

The company also prepared 6 launch events. It is running events that provide rewards based on gameplay performance, including attendance rewards as well as mercenary group level and commission completion. All game members can obtain items ranging from character summoning currency to key items needed for early progression through the launch events.

It is also running events on its official community and social media channels, including character creation verification, and provides additional rewards based on participation.
