Morph Systems, a developer of data integration platforms for the defence industry and U.S. manufacturing, said on Tuesday it raised pre-seed funding from Mashup Ventures and 500 Global.
Morph Systems is an enterprise AI company that designs supply-chain data and workflows for defence and U.S. manufacturing companies seeking to advance their use after adopting Palantir. It builds ontology models that systematically define data relationships to match customers' business contexts, and designs data flows so ERP, logistics, settlement and operations data lead to real-world decisions and execution.
It also designs data and work structures that take future expansion into account for organisations in the early stages of adopting Palantir. Customers can have data-processing structures that enable stable operations even as supply-chain scale expands, along with high-performance computing environments, the company said.
Morph Systems said 40 percent of its revenue in its first year of operations came from U.S. customers, and it expects that to expand to more than 80 percent this year.
Chief Executive Park Min-kyu (박민규) said the company plans to build an ontology-based system for large-scale computing and decision-making operations centred on the U.S. market after the fundraising. He said its ultimate goal is to expand into Neo-Cloud infrastructure and software layers optimised for specific industries and workloads, based on its experience operating field-oriented AI systems.
