CONX, a global blockchain mainnet, said on Monday it has announced the winners of the global 'Nom Arena' game contest held with Comtus Holdings.

The contest was held as part of the 'Conx Arena' project, a creative collaboration ecosystem that combines artificial intelligence (AI) and real-world assets (RWA). It integrates a Web3-based secondary creation ecosystem into the world of 'Nom', a flagship intellectual property (IP) of Comtus Holdings.

The champion, the top prize, went to 'Nom: Reverse'. It is a 2D platformer puzzle game that reinterprets the original work's screen-transition feature as gravity changes. The champion receives CONX coins worth $1,000. Comtus Holdings will handle global publishing for the game, which is set for an official release within the year. Depending on the release stage, it can receive additional prize money worth up to $8,000.

The selected entries were 'Abandoned Nom', a PC-based idle game, and the running action puzzle 'Nom: Beyond'. Each selected entry also receives CONX coins worth $1,000, and discussions on global publishing are under way.

Games released through the project will apply a system that tokenises intellectual property rights and automatically settles revenue. It is the first such case in South Korea's game industry. The structure tokenises the rights relationship agreed by developers and original creators and settles in stablecoins through 'ODL', an automatic settlement standard developed by Comtus Holdings.

CONX is also working on the Web3 art project 'Joo Jae-beom Arena' with pixel artist Joo Jae-beom, following its first event, Nom Arena.
