Item trading platform ItemBay said on Jan. 20 it will run a pre-registration event ahead of the launch of Lineage Classic.

ItemBay said the promotion will run through Feb. 10 and that it will provide active support so users can focus on the game itself without an initial payment burden.

The first event is a "Lineage Classic exclusive comprehensive gift set" to help users settle in. If users click the "Receive benefits" button on ItemBay's event page, they will immediately receive three types of transaction discount coupons worth 500 won, 1,000 won and 3,000 won, and a paid item package that includes Power Zone for 5 hours and a 60-hour Blue Pen pass. It also offers a daily "transaction support funds draw" during the event period that provides a chance to accumulate up to 30,000 mileage.

It is also running a "Bay Classic" event to maximize users' nostalgia. For Lineage Classic transactions only, it applies a uniform sales fee of 3 percent, capped at 29,700 won, across categories, including game money, items and even account transactions.

It is also running a "Share your Lineage memories" campaign through ItemBay's official SNS channels. If users share special experiences they built up while playing Lineage in the past through ItemBay's SNS channels, 20 people will be selected by lottery to receive the amount of a Lineage Classic monthly subscription pass.

An ItemBay official said, "For users who have been waiting for the return of Lineage Classic, we prepared benefits that let them feel the fun of those days again, including fair transaction fees and support for monthly subscription passes." The official added, "Going forward, ItemBay will continue various events that allow it to share memories with users and grow together."
