South Korean freelance platform Kmong said on Jan. 19 it introduced an 'AI project registration (AI Project Brief)' feature to its B2B service, Kmong Enterprise.
The feature was introduced to lower entry barriers faced by customers who are running outsourced projects for the first time or have limited experience commissioning work. The company said it noted repeated cases in which customers hesitate to post projects because they do not know how to organize objectives or requirements, or post listings that lack detail and fail to lead to actual contracts.
The company said the 'AI project registration' feature automatically generates a draft request that is detailed enough for users to communicate directly with experts after entering a simple prompt. It also estimates an appropriate budget and expected duration based on similar project data held by Kmong, and provides a function that analyzes conversations between users and AI to recommend experts suited to the project.
A Kmong official said the AI project registration feature is a practical tool designed to reduce uncertainty and inconvenience in the project commissioning process and make it easy for anyone to connect with experts. The official said the company will continue to advance various features based on generative AI technology to continuously innovate the customer experience.
