Sh Suhyup Bank said on Jan. 19 it held an appointment ceremony on Jan. 16 for its 2026 new recruits at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

The event was attended by bank President Shin Hak-ki, other key executives and senior employees, who congratulated 67 new recruits.

The ceremony began with a sketch video showing the training programme, followed by congratulatory messages from senior staff and presentations by the recruits on their aspirations. A surprise video message from the recruits' parents to their children was also screened.

The 67 newly appointed recruits were selected across tracks including general, regional and IT through an open, merit-based recruitment system. After completing the required training, they will be assigned to branches and headquarters nationwide to begin financial work.

In a congratulatory address, Shin said it brought back memories of when he joined the bank as a new recruit. He stressed that they should do their best in their roles with the spirit and passion of new recruits and become the future of the bank by not fearing challenges.

He said that if they work with senior colleagues in a wise manner and show strong teamwork, they will be able to achieve the best moments of their lives at Sh Suhyup Bank.
