NCSoft said on Sunday that Lineage Classic will open a third round of pre-character creation servers at 8 p.m. on Jan. 20.
Lineage Classic began pre-character creation on Jan. 14, and an initial 10 servers and an additional five servers filled as soon as they opened. Five more servers added on Jan. 15 also closed early, prompting NCSoft to add five servers at 8 p.m. on Jan. 20. As of Jan. 20, the total number of servers will be 25.
Users can install Lineage Classic on NCSoft's game platform Purple and create a character in advance. Those who take part in pre-character creation can choose a server, class, gender and stats, and reserve a character name. Pre-character creation for Lineage Classic is available only once per account regardless of server. Character names cannot be duplicated within the same server.
NCSoft is releasing various short videos on the Lineage Classic brand website and running events. Users can take part in the "Teleport Into Memories" event, which invites them to share their Lineage memories, through March 25. Winners (30 people) will receive a Lineage Classic official guidebook as a gift.
It is also running the "Lineage Classic official YouTube support message" event through March 11. Users can participate by posting supportive comments for clan members from their memories or for the Lineage Classic team. Winners (300 people) will receive a Lineage Classic official guidebook as a gift.
