Apple has unveiled the budget iPhone 17e and a new iPad Air featuring the M4 chip, CNBC reported on Sunday.
Apple plans to announce several new products this week, starting with the iPhone 17e and iPad Air.
The iPhone 17e keeps a 6.1-inch display and adds an A19 chip, a C1X modem and MagSafe charging. Base storage increases to 256GB from 128GB. It comes in three colours: pink, black and white. Prices start at $599. Pre-orders begin on March 4, with a full launch on March 11.
The iPad Air also keeps the same design but upgrades to the M4 chip from the M3 chip. Apple said the new chip delivers up to 30 percent faster performance than the previous model. The 11-inch model is priced at $599 and the 13-inch model at $799, unchanged.
Apple has signalled additional product announcements this week. Bloomberg reported Apple Stores are preparing for a surge in large orders, and new MacBook and iMac launches are also being considered.
