[Barcelona, Spain=DigitalToday reporter Jin-ho Lee] KT said on Sunday it will unveil 'Agentic Fabric' at MWC 2026, an AI operating system for implementing AI transformation (AX) optimized for enterprise environments, and will target the global AI market.

Agentic Fabric is an AI operating system designed to move beyond the limits of existing generative AI that remained an auxiliary tool for tasks such as summarisation and search. It is designed so it can directly execute and control core enterprise work. It aims to shift AI from a simple tool to a controllable, executable operating structure to address fundamental hurdles in enterprise AX.

Agentic Fabric consists of five layers: an experience layer that creates and manages agents in a single user experience; an intelligence layer that handles non-deterministic reasoning and rules-based execution; a context layer that remembers, accumulates and turns enterprise domain knowledge into assets; an execution layer that securely connects to internal and external systems to support execution; and a governance layer that controls based on security, policy, cost and audits.

It also separates enterprise data from the AI execution domain, so enterprise data is stored and processed only within internal systems while new AI models and functions can be flexibly expanded for use. It can be introduced to fit different IT environments and regulatory conditions, including software-as-a-service, on-premise and hybrid.

In the AX platform zone inside KT's booth, it will demonstrate 'agent orchestration', a core execution element. It is a core execution element of Agentic Fabric that analyses user queries, establishes execution plans and assigns them to specialised agents.

KT will also present the 'K RAI evaluation' for responsible AI operations. Visitors will be able to see an automated process in which an evaluation-dedicated agent establishes an evaluation plan on its own, conducts red-team tests and generates a report.

Oh Seung-pil (오승필), head of KT's Technology Innovation Division and a vice president, said, "Agent Fabric is an enterprise AX model born under the philosophy that 'work may differ, but the operating system is one'." He added, "Through MWC26, we will make our proven technological capabilities known to the global market and realise AX optimised for each enterprise environment."
