Com2uS said on Sunday it plans to hold the Com2us Pro Baseball V Festa for users of its mobile baseball game Com2us Pro Baseball V25.
Ahead of the season opener, Com2uS plans to use the event to broaden engagement with Com2us Pro Baseball V25 users and create a participatory festival where they can enjoy and communicate together.
At the Com2us Pro Baseball V Festa venue, it will offer various activities that combine baseball content and allow users to participate directly. A user tournament in which Com2us Pro Baseball V25 players compete will also be held. The tournament will be played as single-match, real-time games in a bracket format. The round of 64 through the quarterfinals will be held as online qualifiers, before the semifinals and final are used to decide the overall winner at the event venue.
The winner will receive 5 million won, the runner-up 2 million won and third and fourth place 1 million won each. It will also award an in-game currency called "Star" based on the final standings to increase participants' motivation to compete.
Tournament applications will be accepted online through Jan. 25, and final participants will be selected by combining real-time match rankings from the past five seasons. The selection results will be announced through the official community after Jan. 26.
