The KOSPI rebounded on Dec. 2 after three sessions and closed in the 3,990 range.

The index ended at 3,994.93, up 74.56 points or 1.90 percent from the previous session, marking its first rise in three sessions.

It opened at 3,939.09, up 18.72 points or 0.48 percent, extended gains and closed near the intraday high.

The KOSDAQ also advanced, finishing at 928.42, up 6.04 points or 0.65 percent from the previous session, and posting gains for a fifth straight session.
