Krafton said on Thursday it is starting preorders for physical console editions of rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush. The preorder campaign will be conducted in cooperation with U.S. game package distributor Limited Run Games.
Hi-Fi Rush is a rhythm action game in which combat and action unfold to the beat of the music. It has received an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on game distribution platform Steam. It won the best audio design award at The Game Awards 2023 and the animation award at the 20th BAFTA Games Awards, proving its popularity and artistic quality.
The packages are divided into three versions: Rhythm Edition, Smidge Edition and Project Armstrong Edition, depending on the contents. Rhythm Edition includes a physical game disc and case, a booklet and 3 DLC costume packs. Smidge Edition adds 3 soundtrack CDs that include developer notes and a storage box themed around the game character Smidge. Project Armstrong Edition adds a miniature guitar replica of the main character Chai, an 8-inch plush of mascot character 808 robot, and a 90-page hardcover artbook. It also includes a certificate with a unique number to enhance its collectible value.
The release platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Preorders will be available from Jan. 17 to March 2 through Limited Run Games' official website.
