Reading platform KT Millie’s Library on Thursday released its AI-analysis-based "2026 reading trends" report.
Key keywords for the reading market next year include nano finance, intentional rest (dopamine detox), the power of stories and humanistic uses of AI. Demand for books related to "dopamine detox" is expected to rise as people try to regain concentration by stepping away from digital stimuli.
"Money Trend 2026" ranked No. 1 in usage on the AI conversational service "AI Dokpaming". It was followed by "How Does Deprivation Change Us" and "If You Do Not Act, Life Will Not Change".
Based on the analysis, Millie’s Library plans to launch a personalised "AI discovery service". Bang Eun-hye, a division head at Millie’s Library, said it would improve user experience by advancing its AI-based services in step with changing reading trends.
