Online fashion platform Musinsa said on Thursday it will run MUKIEs, an open recruitment program for entry-level developers with AI technology capabilities.
It is Musinsa's first large-scale open recruitment for junior-level engineers in about 4 years since 2022. The hiring will adopt a simplified application method without resumes, selecting talent based only on skills and potential, it said.
Applicants will go through online and offline coding tests and interviews in February and March. Those finally selected will join the company within the first quarter. The hiring will start with a 6-month internship, followed by evaluation and conversion to full-time roles.
Musinsa said the recruitment aims to foster 'AI native' talent that will lead system efficiency improvements using AI technology in the field. The selected hires will be assigned to global and offline expansion projects.
Musinsa Chief Technology Officer Junhee Jeon said, "The driving force that enabled sustained growth even amid steep market changes was constant technological challenge." He added, "We look forward to applications from passionate junior developers who will use AI as a tool to lead innovation in the fashion ecosystem."
