Industrial cybersecurity company Nozomi Networks has unveiled Vantage IQ, an AI assistant for OT and IoT security experts, SiliconANGLE reported on Jan. 15 local time.

The company said Vantage IQ learns enterprise asset, vulnerability and threat data to provide customised security information. It learns an organisation’s proprietary data to offer tailored information for different situations. It also helps security analysts use AI to investigate incidents and respond more quickly. It automatically generates security reports for executives.

Nozomi said, "Vantage IQ will operate like a colleague on the security team and strengthen defences in a rapidly changing threat environment."

Nozomi Networks co-founder Andrea Carcano said, "The era of general-purpose AI is over." He stressed that Vantage IQ is AI optimised for OT and IoT security and will help security teams stay ahead of attackers.

Nozomi recently signed an agreement to be acquired by Mitsubishi Electric for about $1 billion.
