Hancom Innostream, a subsidiary of Hancom, said on Feb. 27 it signed a memorandum of understanding with Kongju National University to foster specialised talent in artificial intelligence and strengthen industry-academia cooperation.
Under the agreement, the two sides plan to pursue various cooperation projects, including jointly developing and operating AI and software curricula, expanding industry-academia linked projects and field-based training, supporting employment and start-ups, and conducting joint research and information exchanges in AI technology and education.
Hancom Innostream will support industry-tailored programmes linked to university major courses, based on its practical training capabilities in NVIDIA-based AI education, on-device AI, robotics, data and generative AI.
A Hancom Innostream official said, "Training AI talent is an important task directly linked to national competitiveness," adding, "Based on industry-academia cooperation with universities, we will build a sustainable talent development model that organically links education, industry and employment."
