[Digital Today reporter Lee Ho-jung] Pearl Abyss' "Crimson Desert Enhanced" has been nominated for the Players Choice award, which selects winners by a vote of PlayStation users in Japan and Asia.

Pearl Abyss said on Sunday that "Crimson Desert Enhanced" was selected as one of 30 nominees for the Players Choice award at the PlayStation Partner Awards 2026 Japan Asia.

The Players Choice award selects 30 nominees from games in Japan and Asia that had the most play time, then picks the top 5 through a user vote.

Voting will be held on the official PlayStation website until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 6. The awards ceremony will be held on Dec. 3, and winners by category are expected to be announced the same day.

Pearl Abyss has expanded user touchpoints for "Crimson Desert" in the Japanese market. It ran demo booths at global game shows including Tokyo Game Show, and worked with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) to reveal the release schedule for the main title and the first downloadable content (DLC), "Unknown Journey," in the online showcase "State of Play."

"Crimson Desert" ranked No. 1 in pre-orders on the Japanese PlayStation Store ahead of its release. It was also named in "Best New Games of March 2026," which is selected by a vote of PlayStation users.
