Shinhan Investment will introduce a service in which artificial intelligence turns investment ideas entered in natural language into a conditional screening strategy.
Shinhan Investment said on Sunday it plans to launch the AI conditional screening service, Shinhan Premier AI Finder, on the Shinhan SOL Securities app in November.
Shinhan Premier AI Finder is a service in which customers enter investment ideas in everyday language and the AI identifies the intent and suggests matching screening conditions.
For example, if a user types, "Find stocks with recently rising trading volume and an upward trend," the AI presents related conditions. Customers can then add or adjust conditions such as price, trading volume and technical trends to build an investment strategy.
Beginner investors can turn vague ideas into specific screening conditions. Existing users of conditional screening can combine multiple conditions in a conversational interface to design strategies.
After creating a strategy, it links to verification using past data and to real-time stock searches. Customers can apply the set conditions to past data to check performance and monitor in real time stocks that meet the conditions.
The service is part of Shinhan Investment's AI Agentic MTS strategy. If AI previously stopped at answering customer questions, the goal now is to broaden AI use to identifying customer intent, connecting multiple functions and supporting the investment decision-making process.
Shinhan Investment currently provides services including real-time issue analysis of holdings and watchlist stocks using an AI PB, and translation and summarisation of overseas stock disclosures. It will expand the scope of AI use to establishing investment strategies with the new service.
It will also apply security and customer control features. Even if the AI supports stock searches, strategy building, linking to the order screen and setting up automatic monitoring orders, the final order will be designed to be executed only after customers confirm it themselves.
Yang Jin-geun (양진근), head of Shinhan Investment's Platform Business Division, said, "This service helps customers turn investment ideas in their heads into concrete strategies, verify them and carry them through to actual stock searches." He said, "We will continue to advance AI services and evolve into an AI Agentic MTS."
