Israeli AI security startup Novee has raised $51.5 million in early-stage funding and unveiled an AI penetration testing platform, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday.

The company said that as AI-driven security threats increase, existing security testing still relies on slow, human-centric methods. Novee aims to address this with continuous and automated AI security testing.

Novee said its platform uses AI to deliver security detection performance with accuracy more than 55 percent higher than existing large language models (LLMs). The company stressed it provides vulnerability detection that security teams can trust.

Novee co-founder and CEO Ido Geffen said, "Attackers do not wait for annual tests. Security teams should not either," underscoring the need for AI-based continuous security.

The Series A round was led by YL Ventures, Cannon Partners and Ziv Ventures.
