The number of individual wallets holding 1,000 to 100,000 XRP has topped 1.13 million, hitting a record high.
On Oct. 27, blockchain media outlet Decrypt reported that mid-sized holders kept increasing even as XRP prices underwent a correction in October.
Based on figures compiled by on-chain data platform Glassnode, the number of XRP wallets in this bracket stands at 1,138,510. More than 3,000 wallets entered in October alone, setting a new high. Over the same period, XRP neared $1.40 on Oct. 21 before slipping into the $1.30 range, and its cumulative October decline reached 12.64 percent.
By bracket, wallets holding 1,000 to 10,000 made up the larger share at 829,210. Wallets holding 10,000 to 100,000 grew to about 309,300. It means the base of individual investors broadened even while prices were volatile.
The trend continued throughout this year. But there were two periods when a decline was confirmed. The first was in early February. After XRP hit its yearly high of $2.41 in January and then pulled back, the number of these wallets rose to 1,095,830 on Feb. 6 before falling to 1,088,450 on Feb. 10. That amounts to a decrease of 7,380 in four days.
The wallet count later returned to growth. On Sept. 15 it increased to 1,135,310, and XRP at the time regained levels above $1.50 amid a second straight month of gains. But even as the rebound continued, the number of wallets fell again from Sept. 16 to 26 to 1,134,540. After dropping by about 1,000 over 10 days, it then rose again to the latest record.
Holdings also increased along with the wallet count. The combined balance of these wallets started at 10.48 billion XRP in early 2026 and rose to 10.56 billion XRP in early February. But on Feb. 10 it fell to 10.42 billion XRP along with the decline in wallet numbers.
The combined holdings later resumed rising. They dipped temporarily in late September, but have now increased to 10.86 billion XRP. Since the start of the year, these wallets have added about 380 million XRP.
The key point in this move is that both wallet numbers and holdings rose during a period of price correction. Wallets holding 1,000 to 100,000 resumed increasing after a late-September decline, and continued accumulating in October regardless of weak prices. As a result, whether accumulation led by individual investors continues has become the next point to watch in the XRP market.
