Line Games said on Oct. 27 that its new PC title "Come to My Party" has reached 10,000 cumulative wishlists on Steam.
"Come to My Party" is a black comedy visual novel developed by solo developer Yoon Sim-sang (윤심상) and set to be serviced by Line Games. It recently unveiled demo version 2.0 at "Steam Next Fest."
The new demo improves the story and character presentation and adjusts mini-game difficulty. It also adds features reflecting feedback from existing users, including an option to skip animations.
Line Games said Steam wishlist registrations increased after the event, pushing the cumulative total past 10,000. About 95 percent of users who tried the demo left positive reviews.
The game is set in an elementary school in South Korea and a nearby city in 1999. It follows the story of a 10-year-old girl, "Jimin," who tries to become class president to hold her first birthday party, and events involving her friends and three siblings.
It uses hand-drawn characters and backgrounds to recreate the atmosphere of the late 1990s. It also applies a multi-ending structure in which the story and ending change depending on the user's choices.
Line Games plans to reflect user feedback gathered through Steam Next Fest and demo 2.0 in development before a formal release in the first quarter of 2027.
