11st said on Jan. 14 it will issue a “welcome coupon pack” containing seven discount coupons from Jan. 15 to 31 to new sign-ups and customers with no purchase history in the past three months. Customers can receive up to 110,000 won in discounts if they use all the coupons.
The pack consists of 2 cart coupons (up to 16,000 won off), 2 coupons for Shooting Delivery and grocery items (9,000 won off in total), and 3 category coupons for products such as furniture, beauty and luxury goods (up to 85,000 won off). It is issued once per ID.
It also provides an additional 5,000-won discount coupon separately to members of the free “11st Plus” membership. 11st has a strategy to strengthen benefits in a high-inflation environment by targeting customer groups with potential demand and to focus on securing new and dormant customers.
An 11st official said: “We will raise customers’ perceived value through various discount benefits and establish ourselves as a ‘trusted platform.’”
