South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT said on Sunday it will hold Physical AI Tech Week at COEX in Seoul on Oct. 13-14.
The event is designed to share technology and industry trends in physical AI and expand cooperation among the government, companies and research institutes. More than 500 people are expected to attend, including about 400 companies and institutions participating in the Physical AI Alliance.
On Oct. 13, the first day, the event will host Physical AI Alliance Day. Relevant ministries, including the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, will introduce physical AI-related business plans for 2027 and discuss ways to cooperate on technology development and verification and commercialisation.

During the event, there will also be exhibitions and demonstrations of physical AI-related technologies, including AI semiconductors, manufacturing AI, and robots and humanoids.
An official at the ministry said, "We hope this event will serve as a venue to share trends in physical AI technology and industry and create opportunities for cooperation among the government, companies and research institutes."
