Netmarble is expanding beyond its internal development studio system and widening cooperation with external studios, strengthening its portfolio. New titles from its subsidiaries Netmarble Neo, Netmarble Monster and Netmarble Nexus have performed well, and new projects from external studios are adding further diversification.

Industry sources said on the 29th that Netmarble recently signed a global publishing contract with global game developer Kong Studios for the new title Project Octopus.

Kong Studios is known to domestic and overseas users for mobile puzzle RPG Dungeon Link and mobile adventure RPG Guardian Tales.

Project Octopus is being developed as a casual action roguelike RPG based on dot graphics using the Guardian Tales intellectual property. It aims to maximise the genre’s traits and allow anyone to create varied combat builds with simple controls. It also plans to offer a range of content set in a mine.

Netmarble secured domestic and overseas publishing rights to Project Octopus through the contract. It plans extensive marketing and stable service based on its accumulated publishing capabilities.

Netmarble also signed a global publishing contract last November with new developer Alt9 for Sol: Enchant. Sol: Enchant is an MMORPG that Alt9 is developing under the differentiated concept of a god.

Netmarble presented Sol: Enchant at G-Star 2025 and operated an outdoor booth. It set up an interactive media art display using a large LED screen to allow visitors to experience the core content, divine power, drawing significant attention.

Sol: Enchant recently opened a teaser site and released a teaser video. The one-minute video shows the overwhelming scale of divine power through striking visuals, highlighting its influence as a transcendent force that can instantly change the battlefield. Netmarble plans to release development updates and major content details through official channels.

An industry official said internal studio titles such as Netmarble N2’s RF Online Next, Netmarble Nexus’s Seven Knights Rebirth and Netmarble Neo’s Vampyr have delivered steady results this year. The official said Netmarble’s portfolio has strengthened further as new titles from capable external developers such as Alt9 and Kong Studios join the lineup.
