Artificial intelligence and data company Encoa said on Tuesday it was selected for a second straight year in the AI data infrastructure category of the Korea AI Industry Association (AIIA)-hosted "2026 Emerging AI + X Top 100," following its selection in 2025.

The Korea AI Industry Association's Emerging AI + X Top 100 is a programme to select 100 South Korean companies expected to lead future innovation by combining technology (AI) and industry (X) as companies with anticipated future value. It evaluates and selects South Korean companies that focus on fostering AI technology and use it as a core growth tool.

Encoa last year introduced an AI-ready data strategy needed for companies to adopt AX and an AI-based data governance automation AI agent. It also released an SQL Conversion AI Agent that automated the SQL conversion process required for various projects.

An Encoa official said, "Encoa being selected as an 'Emerging AI + X Top 100' company for 2 consecutive years can be seen as external recognition of our AI capabilities based on Encoa data. Encoa has recently supported customers' AX journeys by introducing various products and services that use AI based on data, which is Encoa's area of expertise. Going forward, the level of corporate Data Readiness will determine the success or failure of AX adoption. Encoa plans to introduce an expanded business in 2026 that combines advanced strategies, solutions and execution guides needed for successful AX."
