Korea Investment Securities said on Feb. 27 it will launch an "ETF Market" service through its mobile trading system app, "Korea Investment", from Feb. 28.
ETF Market was planned to support customers in more easily checking product information and trading, in line with recently fast-growing demand for exchange-traded fund (ETF) investing.
The company said the service is set up so users can check on the home screen ETF information that can be invested in through tax-saving accounts such as brokerage ISA, personal pensions and retirement pensions. It provides a trading environment optimised for investment goals and account characteristics. It also allows users to compare, summarise and check popular ETF products at a glance by major asset managers and themes, and to trade immediately.
Kwak Jin (곽진), head of the eBiz division, said, "ETF Market is a practical service that covers everyone from beginner investors to professional investors seeking efficient asset allocation." He added, "We will focus on maximising the convenience of non-face-to-face trading."
