Publisher Jpub will release 'How to Innovate Work and Daily Life: Notion AI' on Oct. 15, written by official Notion consultant Jeon Si-jin (전시진).
The publisher said the book introduces Notion AI step by step, from basic settings to workplace use and agent features for task automation.
Notion AI is characterized by its ability to use the information and context users accumulate in Notion. Based on documents written on pages, database information and comments, it answers questions and supports document writing and organizing materials. The author says this can reduce the need to copy information into separate AI services.
The book is built around examples that can be used in real work, such as automatically recording meetings and producing minutes or generating images suited to a topic. It also covers how to use various AI models within Notion, including ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.
It also introduces how to write prompts to get the desired results from AI. The author presents the 'OICES' framework, using the first letters of Order, Information, Constraints, Example and Style, and explains how to systematically deliver the information AI needs.
It also includes ways to connect materials in Slack, Google Drive and GitHub with Notion, allowing users to search for needed information without moving between services.
The author also highlights Notion agent features.
While typical Notion AI answers questions, agents can take real actions such as creating pages or editing documents. Using custom agents can automate tasks under set conditions without users having to give instructions each time.
Jeon also runs a collaboration tools consulting company called Cereal and provides lectures and consulting on smart work and productivity tools.
