Institutional-grade digital asset financial infrastructure company Sooho IO on Tuesday held the Seoul Digital Money Summit (SDMS) 2026 at Hashed Lounge in Seoul's Gangnam district. It unveiled a "global financial pipeline" strategy to link South Korean companies and financial institutions with global financial infrastructure.
It also introduced Sooho PartnerHub, an enterprise digital asset financial infrastructure platform.
Participants included KB Securities, NH Investment & Securities and Meritz Securities, as well as global settlement network Partior, Ondo Finance, Tiger Research and Allium Labs, along with other industry officials from South Korea and abroad.
In a keynote speech, Sooho IO CEO Park Ji-su (박지수) presented corporate treasury operations as the starting point for the global financial pipeline.
The company said travel companies and firms trading heavy equipment have been asked by overseas counterparties to use digital assets such as USDT and USDC for transactions, but have faced multiple difficulties. To use received digital assets in actual treasury operations, companies must set up wallets and accounts, directly search for and review needed providers, and then connect and manage each service.
Sooho IO built Sooho PartnerHub to address these problems. Instead of companies directly connecting to multiple digital asset providers and infrastructure, Sooho IO pre-connects the required financial infrastructure and offers it as a subscription service in a single environment. Companies choose the services they need and execute them directly with their own assets, while Sooho IO handles complex interconnections between services.
Through Sooho PartnerHub, Sooho IO currently provides digital asset trading and earning functions. It plans to expand the scope to payments and remittances, linking the full range of treasury operations from receiving corporate assets to trading, earning and paying out.
It also plans to link PartnerHub with global settlement network Partior, with which it recently signed a strategic memorandum of understanding, to lay the groundwork for South Korean financial institutions to connect to global payment and settlement networks using deposit tokens.
Sooho IO also presented a structure in which deposits held at South Korean financial institutions are digitised in the form of deposit tokens and linked to global financial networks. It also presented a scenario in which deposit tokens are used in the future as reserve assets for a won-based stablecoin.
Park said, "What companies want is not new finance, but receiving transaction payments and using them for the next transaction." He added, "We will connect the finance needed so that digital assets can be used like day-to-day corporate funds, and expand this to domestic financial institutions and global financial networks."
Sooho IO plans to use the event to expand its corporate service for Sooho PartnerHub. It also plans to continue building infrastructure that links South Korean finance with global financial networks through cooperation with domestic financial institutions and global financial infrastructure providers.
