Global AI agent startup Liner said on Sept. 29 it has launched its tool-integration connection solution for AI agents, 'Liner Actions MCP.'

Liner Actions MCP is a service that, once connected to AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT, supports using about 1,100 external apps including Calendar, Slack and Notion through natural-language commands.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standard specification that enables AI agents to connect to external services and carry out real tasks. Previously, users had to find the required MCP themselves and go through service-by-service installation and application programming interface (API) key setup.

Liner Actions MCP is designed to reduce that process. When using a service for the first time, integration is completed by logging in to an account through the connection link provided. For example, if a user asks, "Organise what was discussed this week in the Slack marketing channel into Notion," the agent finds the tools it needs, retrieves information and performs the task.

Liner said it directly called the roughly 1,100 tools it provides to verify they functioned properly. It also reduced context overload that can occur when multiple tools are connected at the same time by loading only the necessary tools at the time of a request.

Liner Actions MCP does not separately store user data and anonymises records generated in the course of using the service. Liner also provides 'Liner Actions API' for corporate developers. Using it allows them to implement connector functions in their own AI agents that integrate with about 1,100 services.
