Sh Suhyup Bank said on Tuesday it visited the IT exhibition CES 2026 in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9 local time and reviewed use cases of artificial intelligence in finance and the marine and fisheries sector.

The visit was conducted to check technology trends related to the bank’s digital transformation efforts and to confirm whether AI technology can be applied at fishing and fisheries sites as a specialist bank for the marine and fisheries sector.

The bank reviewed examples of AI agents that support or perform financial tasks, focusing on AI computing and platform technologies. It also examined whether they could be applied to financial work processes and the marine and fisheries industry.

At the Samsung SDS booth, it confirmed cases in which AI agents support staff judgement in repetitive and standardised financial tasks such as credit card membership screening. It reviewed whether this could be applied to financial work processes.

It also met with Samsung SDS CEO Jun-hee Lee at the venue and exchanged views on ways to cooperate on using marine and fisheries-related data and developing digital services, centred on BadaGO, a marine and fisheries-focused service Sh Suhyup Bank is planning.
