Netmarble Cultural Foundation said on Sept. 10 it has concluded the '2026 National e-Festival for Students with Disabilities' held on Sept. 8-9 at Vivaldi Park Sono Calm in Hongcheon, Gangwon province.

About 1,600 people took part, including special school students, coaches, and parents selected through regional qualifiers that drew about 3,000 participants nationwide from May to July.

The competition featured 29 events, including 11 e-sports titles such as 'Magumagu Remastered' and 'Modoo's Marble' and 18 information technology contests. The 29 winning teams in each event received awards including the education minister's prize and the culture, sports and tourism minister's prize.

In Magumagu Remastered, Kim Ha-yul (김하율) and Lee Dong-woo (이동우) from Jumong School won. In Modoo's Marble, Choi Eun-yu (최은유) and Choi Jeong-woo (최정우) from Yeongdong Elementary School in North Chungcheong province took first place.

Kim and Lee said, "We tried last year too, but we practiced more this year and we are happy to win after overcoming the nerves." Detailed results, including those from the IT contests, will be posted later on the competition website.

During the event, cultural programs were also held, including Ballerina Who Loved B-Boys, an illusion magic show, an e-World quiz show, a hip-hop e-stage and Play the Beat.

The National e-Festival for Students with Disabilities was co-hosted by Netmarble Cultural Foundation, the National Institute of Special Education and the Korea Creative Content Agency, with sponsorship from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Netmarble Cultural Foundation was launched in 2018 and runs social contribution programs centered on three areas: "Making culture", "Nurturing talent" and "Sharing hearts".
