Cafe24 said on Dec. 1 that average search exposure for online shops rose 112 percent within 46 days after it applied the Product Snippet feature by default. The click rate rose 7.1 percent, improving the quality of search‑based traffic.
Cafe24 said an analysis of data from more than 600 shops between Oct. 1 and Nov. 15 showed average monthly exposure increasing to 18,420 cases from 8,704 after the default rollout. Early November readings reached the 25,000 range.
Product Snippet structures product information such as price, inventory, reviews and delivery so search engines can identify it clearly. Structured data aids search rankings, and Google search results can display the information directly to lift clicks and conversions.
Cafe24 said the default rollout allows online businesses to gain search engine optimisation competitiveness similar to large platforms without additional development or cost.
Cafe24 CEO Lee Jaeseok said, "Technical SEO is essential in the AI search era" and added, "We will keep advancing SEO features so sellers can focus on product and customer management."
