Shinhan Bank will recruit about 130 entry-level bankers in the second half of this year for general positions in retail and corporate finance. From this recruitment, it will scrap self-introduction essays and introduce video interviews and AI collaboration interviews, revamping the screening process.

Shinhan Bank said it will begin hiring entry-level bankers for the second half of 2026 from Sept. 9.

It plans to select about 130 people through open recruitment for entry-level bankers in general retail and corporate finance roles and special hiring for candidates who passed the second stage of the certified public accountant exam.

The recruitment process will also be partially changed. It will abolish existing self-introduction essay questions and introduce video interviews to assess applicants' experience and capabilities.

Interviews previously conducted in separate first and second rounds will be revamped into an integrated format combining in-depth interviews, group interviews and AI collaboration interviews.

Applications will be accepted from Sept. 9 through 2 p.m. on Sept. 17 via Shinhan Bank's official recruitment website.
