Hecto Financial will provide a service on Cafe24 online shopping malls that allows users to check points from multiple card companies at once and use them for payments.
Hecto Financial said on Sept. 9 it will provide its new payment method, the 'Point Damoa' service, to Cafe24 member merchants. Hecto Financial is Cafe24's official payment partner.
Point Damoa is a service that allows users to check credit card points scattered across multiple card companies at once and use them for online payments.
It does not require separate sign-ups or app installation. It also supports combined payments that use points together with other payment methods such as credit cards or account transfers.
The company explained that using point payments could also help reduce shopping mall operators' payment cost burdens.
A Hecto Financial official said, "By connecting points scattered across multiple places to an actual payment method, we can improve convenience for customers and also support stronger payment competitiveness for shopping mall operators," adding, "We will work with Cafe24 to support improvements in the payment environment for small merchants and small and medium-sized businesses."
