KakaoBank will introduce an auto finance service that allows users to compare everything from used-car loans to new-car cashback and long-term rentals in one place.
KakaoBank said on Sept. 8 it will launch an "auto finance comparison service" that lets customers compare financial products and benefits needed in the process of buying new and used cars.
Used-car buyers can compare KakaoBank’s used-car purchase loan along with auto loans, used-car installment plans and credit loans from about 70 partner financial firms at once.
New-car buyers can enter the vehicle price, down payment and installment period to check cashback benefits and installment terms by partner card issuer.
KakaoBank has expanded its comparison services beyond credit loans and home-backed loans to include auto finance. It plans to add more products and partner financial firms that can be compared.
A KakaoBank official said, "We prepared the service so that users can compare and use the financial information needed in the car-buying process in the app."
