NetEase Games and its Everstone Studio unit said on Dec. 1 they will launch the mobile version of the open-world martial arts action RPG Cloudbound on Dec. 12.
Cloudbound launched globally for PC and consoles on Nov. 14 and quickly gained users. Cumulative global users exceeded 9 million within two weeks. Steam data showed 250,000 concurrent users and an 88 percent positive rating.
The mobile release extends Cloudbound from PC and console to mobile. It features graphics optimisation for smaller devices and controls designed for mobile play.
The mobile version supports cross-play and cross-progression. Players can continue using the same account across devices.
Cloudbound is an open-world martial arts action RPG set in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Players explore the continent as wandering martial artists and experience swordsmanship, tai chi, qinggong and other traditional martial arts and cultural elements.
