KT M Mobile wins web accessibility certification for 11th straight year
KT M Mobile said on Monday it has received the web accessibility quality certification mark for the 11th consecutive year, the first in the budget mobile carrier industry. The certification is a national programme awarded after review by an accredited body designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT. It recognises websites that follow national standards so all users, including people with disabilities and older adults, can use them conveniently.

Teen smartphone overdependence hits 43 percent, highest in five years
The share of people in the smartphone overdependence risk group continued to fall overall, but it rose among teenagers, a government survey showed. The Ministry of Science and ICT said overall risk-group share slipped 0.2 percentage points from a year earlier to 22.7 percent, extending a decline since 2021. Teenagers aged 10 to 19 rose 0.4 points to 43.0 percent, and children aged 3 to 9 edged up to 26.0 percent.

Kiwoom Securities to hold 2026 Kiwoom Run barrier-free short-course marathon
Kiwoom Securities said on March 12 it will hold the barrier-free short-course marathon \"2026 Kiwoom Run\" on April 18, Disability Day, at Yeouido Park in Seoul. The event is open to participants with and without disabilities, with 5 km and 10 km courses. Participation fees and event-related costs will be used for activities to improve disability accessibility. The venue will provide support spaces and programs, including services for wheelchair users and visually impaired runners.
