KB Financial steps up support for national merit recipients ahead of Memorial Day
KB Financial Group is expanding veterans-related support ahead of South Korea’s 71st Memorial Day, it said on Thursday. KB Kookmin Bank carried out volunteer work at Seoul National Cemetery and will launch a remittance cheque service for overseas recipients of veterans benefits on June 8, waiving issuance fees. KB Capital continues a cane-support programme for Korean War veterans. The group also backs descendants of independence activists and provides scholarships for children of fallen or injured public servants.

Shinhan Bank to provide healthcare services to new pension recipients
Shinhan Bank said on Monday it will provide a “Shinhan SOL Mate Healthcare Service” for pension recipients in cooperation with healthcare company GC Care starting March 31. The service targets customers who, from March 2026, first receive public pensions or an individual retirement pension (IRP) into a Shinhan Bank account. Benefits include university hospital appointment bookings, health check-up reservation support and preferential services, and nurse accompaniment and vehicle escort for patients with severe diseases.

Toss Bank launches large-scale hiring across all job categories
Toss Bank said on Friday it will carry out large-scale recruitment across all job categories through March 31. It plans to hire talent for about 60 positions in areas including product planning and design, business, engineering, data, security and management support. The bank is recruiting both entry-level and experienced candidates and will separately indicate roles open to new graduates. It also operates a talent pool for special hiring of veterans.
