NHN KCP holds briefing with KOTRA on entering Japan market
NHN KCP held a briefing with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency for South Korean companies seeking to enter the Japanese market. The company said the event was arranged ahead of the domestic launch of Japan’s PayPay service to support merchants and firms preparing to expand to Japan. About 50 companies attended, alongside partners including SB Payment Service and PayPay. Sessions covered market trends, rollout plans, GTPP use and one-on-one consultations.

Toss Payments launches direct-integration payment solution for Shopify
Toss Payments, an electronic payment gateway unit of Viva Republica, is launching a direct-integration payment solution in partnership with global commerce platform Shopify. Toss Payments said on June 24 that the partnership will allow users to access its payment solution within Shopify. Shopify-based online store operators can connect to the system through contract and setup procedures without separate technical development. Merchants can install an app in Shopify’s admin screen and activate payment methods.

Cross integrates Alchemy Pay to buy tokens directly with fiat
Cross Protocol has linked its system with global crypto payment gateway Alchemy Pay to enable users to buy tokens with fiat currency without going through a crypto exchange. The integration adds an on-ramp function that lets users pay in fiat and receive crypto directly into their wallets. Alchemy Pay will handle payments and KYC. Supported fiat currencies include the U.S. dollar, euro, Singapore dollar and Hong Kong dollar.
