MegaETH to end Megamafia accelerator after two years

Ethereum layer2 project MegaETH will end its flagship accelerator program, Megamafia, after two years and two cohorts. Core team member Shuyao Kong said the program was successful in many ways, but assumptions made when it was designed are no longer valid. About 20 teams were supported and raised about $80 million from pre-seed to Series A, MegaETH said. Kong said much of the value did not flow back to MegaETH and most successful projects no longer develop with it.

Aave Labs launches Stable Vault predictable-yield infrastructure

Aave Labs has launched a new infrastructure product, Stable Vault, aimed at helping institutions integrate predictable stablecoin yield into their products. The service allows fintech firms, wallets, exchanges and payments apps to add stablecoin yield features without building and operating complex DeFi infrastructure. Stable Vault allocates user deposits across several strategies, including Aave V3 and V4 markets, SavingsGHO vaults and customised ERC-4626 tokenised vaults, and passes returns to customers.

Aave deploys V3 lending protocol and launches GHO stablecoin on Monad

Aave has deployed its V3 lending protocol on Monad and begun supporting 12 assets, including the GHO stablecoin. The Monad Foundation plans to provide $15 million in incentives during the first 12 months after service activation. The deployment applies Chainlink Smart Value Recapture from the start, returning part of value generated during liquidations to the protocol. The Monad Foundation will buy 10 million GHO and hold it for at least six months.
